OCEAN MIA SECOND LAND RELEASE
The second land release at the Town of Cambridge's premium land subdivision - Ocean Mia, on The Boulevard - attracted more than 120 people interested in just 14 lots being auctioned.
Although only three lots sold during the auction, Town of Cambridge Mayor Simon Withers said the Council will not sell any Ocean Mia lots at a discount to prices paid at the previous auction.
Mr Withers said that there are only 50 of these super-premium lots remaining within the Ocean Mia estate.
"Ocean Mia offers a fantastic lifestyle, including proximity to the ocean, Bold Park and the city, on small easy-to-maintain blocks that are rare in City Beach."
"Many potential buyers may have been hesitant because of stock market jitters or recent interest rate rises, but there's no dobut about the value of this land" he said.
The Council has no short term requirement for the cash from these land sales and we won't be discounting Ocean Mia land," Mayor Withers added. "Buyers can be confident that they will not see lower prices at subsequent auctions."
