Local Laws

Local laws govern activities on land that is owned or managed by the Town, as well as certain activities conducted on private land within the Town.

Local laws have the status of legislation, are enforceable and the Town may authorise officers to enforce the local laws on its behalf.

Local laws must be reviewed every eight years.
