Lot 501 (No. 15) Omaroo Terrace, City Beach - State Administrative Tribunal Reconsideration

Council refused the application submitted by CA Design and Drafting at Lot 501 (No. 15) Omaroo Terrace, City Beach.

Draft Amendments to Local Planning Policy 6.4: Precinct 44: Wembley

Council approved the amended draft Policy 6.4: Precinct P4: Wembley be publicly advertised.

Closure of Pedestrian Access Way (Lot 8008) between Lot 232 (No. 1) Finishline View and Lot 233 (No. 29) Stadium Drive, Floreat - Outcomes of Advertising

Council made the decision not to proceed with the proposed closure of Pedestrian Access Way Lot 8008, between Lot 232 Finishline View and Lot 233 Stadium Drive, Floreat.

Metro West Joint Development Assessment Panel - Member Nomination

Council endorsed the following to represent the Town of Cambridge as local members on the Metropolitan West Joint Development Assessment Panel for submission to the Department of Planning:

Local Member 1 - Cr MacRae

Local Member 2 - Cr Timmermanis

Alternate Local Member 1 - Cr O'Connor

Alternate Local Member 2 - Cr Powell

Tender RFT 43-16 Irrigation Maintenance Services

By an absolute majority Council awarded the tender to Total Eden for a three year period ending 6 March 2020.

CR17.2

Beecroft Park Improvement Concept Plan

By an absolute majority Council endorsed the Draft Beecroft Park improvement concept plan be circulated for public comment.

 

CR17.3

Perry Lakes Estate Parking Review

Council adopted Plan E 188 16 01 Rev B and that parking signs and lines be installed except for the area bounded by Tomlinson Boulevard, Burvill Drive and Finishline View. All property owners are to be advised of the Council decision and the Town will review car parking supply/demand and transport conflicts throughout the Perry Lakes Estate annually.

Gateway Entry Signage for Town of Cambridge

Council selected a preferred concept design for gateway entry signage to be installed at three locations with a $30,000 budget allocation.

CR17.9

West Australian Ballet - 10 Year Memorandum of Understanding for the use of the Quarry Amphitheatre

Council authorised to a 10 year Memorandum of Understanding between the Town of Cambridge and the West Australian Ballet, from 2018 to 2027 for the annual use of the Quarry Amphitheatre for their 'Ballet at the Quarry' production.

CR17.10

Underground Power Program Update

By an absolute majority Council approved a pricing model be developed for endorsement by Council followed by consultation with affected property owners and the State Government be requested to include Wembley/West Leederville within this round of SUPP works on the basis that is 100% funded by the Town and Property Owners.

Cambridge Coast Care and Floreat Surf Club Shed Update

Council agreed the Chief Executive Officer be delegated authority to approve the sub lease between the Floreat Surf Club and Cambridge Coast Care for the existing 28.5m² shed within the Floreat Surf Life Saving Club leased area.

Community Engagement and Integrated Planning and Reporting Funding

Council endorsed the program for phase two community engagement and to complete the Integrated Planning and Reporting program and approved the reallocation of funds.
