Wembley Community Centre
The Wembley Community Centre is a multi-purpose venue catering for a wide range of community events and meetings. It hosts over 40 different user groups as well as catering for events such as weddings, dinners, parties, conferences and seminars. Various recreation and lifestyle programs are also held for adults, seniors and children.

Programs and events
The centre hosts a range of programs and events throughout the year, including:
- recreation and lifestyle programs for adults and children
- seniors' activities
- school holiday workshops and activities
- community events
The Have-A-Chat program is an opportunity for young people with a disability aged 18-25 to socialise and enjoy a range of activities. This program is run at the Wembley Community Centre and also includes outings to lots of great places. The group meets every fortnight on a Tuesday from 5pm-8pm. Residents are now able to discard their personal identification items and paperwork in the safe and secure 'Docu-Shred' Bin located at the Wembley Community Centre. Donated by the Town, the 'Docu-Shred' Bin is a locked facility where residents can safely dispose of these items to help avoid identity fraud. All documents are shredded and the bin is emptied either when full, or once per month. Please note, this bin is not to be used for general recycling - confidential items only. The 'Docu-Shred' Bin is accessible to residents during Centre opening hours.
