Archived Building Plans

Referring to archived building plans of your property can be very useful when considering further development or building works.  To access archived building plans of your property download and complete an Archive Application Form  available below.

Searches are conducted on a weekly basis with the cut-off time for applications being noon each Wednesday. You can expect a call by the following Monday advising your plans have arrived from the storage centre and are available for viewing.

Please note:

  • agents for the owner must supply written authority giving them permission to access and obtain copies of any plans and related documentation;
  • if the property is held in the form of a Strata Title, written authority of the Secretary of the Body Corporate or Managing Agent; or alternatively, written authority signed by all strata owners will be required;
  • if a third party is to collect the plans on behalf of the owner, a letter from the owner is required authorising that person to collect a copy of the plans;
  • if the owner of the property is a company, a copy of the relevant documentation is required indicating the current directors of the company;
  • the applicant must supply photographic identification (eg. driver's licence) prior to viewing plans; and
  • plans can not be removed from the Town's Administration Centre, however photocopying of the plans can be done by the Town for which the following rates per page:
