Summer of Fun event guide out now!

Town of Cambridge residents should be on the lookout for the 2017-2018 Summer of Fun events guide which will be hitting letterboxes this week. Packed with activities and events the whole family will enjoy, the annual program kicks off in October with the Lake Monger Market, where you can browse the stalls on the banks of Lake Monger to pick up a pre-loved bargain.
A selection of music festivals are also on offer including Sunset Music in the Park and Exposure Youth Music Festival, plus the season of performances at Quarry Amphitheatre.
The ever-popular Christmas at Lake Monger and the Australia Day Festival at Perry Lakes will be on again, as well as the Cambridge Street Festival which on 10 March, will see Cambridge Street transformed into a dynamic community space.
In late January, Bold Park Aquatic will be hosting the family-friendly Extreme Water Sports Fun Day and on Sunday, 25 February all eyes will be on City Beach when the 2018 Commonwealth Games Queen's Baton Relay comes to Town.
These events are just a taste of what’s on during the Summer of Fun, with the guide also featuring plenty of continuing Town of Cambridge programs.
