Administration Building

The Town of Cambridge encompasses a 22 sq km area covering:

  • City Beach
  • Floreat
  • Wembley
  • West Leederville
  • Parts of Jolimont, Mount Claremont, Daglish and Wembley Downs

On 10 June 1996, the Administration moved into the Town's new Civic/Administration building situated at 1 Bold Park Drive, Floreat. The building contains modern facilities and is designed and orientated to maximise energy efficiency and passive solar principles. The single storey building is constructed of stabilised crushed limestone, responding to the colour, history and texture of the site. As a response to the site setting, function and backdrop of parkland, the landscaping for the site has an indigenous theme.

Serving a population of 24,500 there are approximately 9,673 residential dwellings in the Town, which is recognised for its many regional parks and recreational facilities.  All traditional outdoor sporting activities and facilities are provided for.

A workforce of approximately 154 full and part time people are employed by the Town.
