Council Committees
There are four Committees who deal with specific areas of the Council's operations. Each committee makes recommendations to full Council each month.
Infrastructure Committee
Dealing with:
- Waste Management
- Transportation and traffic management
- Ocean beaches, sportsgrounds and Parks and remnant bushlands
- Wembley Golf complex
- Asset management
Governance Committee
Dealing with:
- Matters relating to the good governance of the Town
- Establishment and review of policies and procedures
- Legal matters
- Corporate issues
- Compliance with statutory requirements
Corporate and Community Committee
Dealing with:
- Provision of social, recreational, physical and cultural services
- Management of key facilities that provide services
- Finance, information technology, property management
- Customer services, records management, Ranger services
- Community Development and Community Safety
- Youth, Senior, Library and Underground Power Services
