Perry Lakes Environmental Management Plan
-
Perry Lakes and Alderbury Reserve are located approximatley 7 kilometres west of Perth CBD, and have a total area of approximatley 80 hectares. The area is bounded by Oceanic Drive, Alderbury Street Meagher Drive, Underwood Avenue and Perry Lakes Drive. The overall character of the landscape provides a parkland setting, which encompasses two large lakes, comprising approximately 12.6 hectares, and areas dissected by roadways to allow access to car parks, picnic areas and playgrounds.
This Environmental Management Plan (EMP) describes the existing physical and biological environment, identifies and assesses the impacts associated with the current land uses of the Reserve, including boundary issues with Bold Park. The EMP prescribes the management objectives, strategies, tasks, procedures, practices, performance indicators, reporting and monitoring which will be required for the effective environmental management of the Reserves.

Treescape Plan
-
The Town of Cambridge is responsible for over 166 kilometers of streets and nearly 13,000 street trees.
The existing street tree plantings have occurred over a long period of time, some as consciously designed streetscape works, some as routine planting work and some as the result of voluntary effort by residents and individuals. Their type, age, condition and appropriateness vary greatly across the Town.
The Town of Cambridge values the “leafy nature”, aesthetic and environmental contribution that street trees make to the Town and is committed to managing its street trees safely and responsibly, in keeping with these values.
