The Strategic Plan covers a wide range of functions that the Town performs and sets a direction for the future. The Plan also provides the Town's vision, mission and values. It is developed around five key result areas, each supported by specific objectives and strategies: Community Governance (Strategic Planning and Management) Communication Natural and Built Environment Economic (Economic and Resource Management). The Town at its meeting held on 28 February 2006, decided to adopt the Strategic Plan 2005-2009 as its initial Plan for the Future, which replaces the Plan of Principal Activities.
