The purpose of this 'Frequently Asked Questions' page is to provide answers to the questions most commonly asked by the public.

How do I obtain a refund for my crossover?

Residents must apply to Council for the construction of a crossover. Council will subsidize the first standard crossover to each property. Payment of the refund will be made following a final inspection after construction.


How do I advise the Town of a change in property ownership?

To change the ownership of a property with the Town of Cambridge the full details of the name and postal address of the purchaser (new owner) are required in writing. The information may be sent via mail to PO Box 15, Floreat WA 6014 or via email to financial@cambridge.wa.gov.au This information is required by the Town when a person (whether as principal or an agent) sells or disposes of land.


How do I notify the Town of a change of address?

To notify the Town of Cambridge of your new postal address you will need to advise in writing detailing the property address and your new postal address. This advice may be sent via mail to PO Box 15, Floreat WA 6014 or via email to financial@cambridge.wa.gov.au.


How do I find out the zoning of a property within the Town of Cambridge?

The Town's Planning Officers are available to assist with any zoning enquiries by telephoning 9347 6052.


How do I obtain a copy of my building plans?

If you are the current owner of a property, you are able to request an archival search for building plans relating to the property by completing an Archive Search Form and making a payment. The cost for the retrieval of plans is $60.50 (Pensioners requests being $33.00). Photocopying charges will also apply.
