Draft Strategic Community Plan

Public comment is invited on the Draft Strategic Community Plan for the Town of Cambridge.

The Draft Plan has been compiled over a nine month period and will be the guiding document for activating projects across the Town for the next 10 years.

Extensive community engagement has informed the development of the draft Plan and helped establish four priority areas -

  • Our Community Life

  • Our Planned Neighbourhoods

  • Our Natural Environment

  • Our Council

Responding to these priority areas are a set of goals, with strategies and actions to support those goals.

Read the Draft Strategic Community Plan here.

All comments must be received by the Town by 5pm on Monday, 20 May 2013.

What is Community Engagement?

Community Engagement aims to engage the whole Cambridge community; it's an opportunity for you to talk about your views, aspirations and share ideas on what you'd like to see in the future for the Town.

The Community Engagement process was used to develop the draft Strategic Community Plan. Read about the Town's community engagement projects undertaken throughout this process.

If you would like to be involved in future community engagement opportunities, join the Community Networks group. The group is designed for active community members to explore community issues, concerns and ideas in a fun, informal and friendly environment.
