The Town of Cambridge has appointed Kelton Hincks, Director of Infrastructure & Works, as temporary Chief Executive Officer following the departure of CEO Gary Tuffin.

Mayor Gary Mack expressed full confidence in Mr Hincks’ ability to ensure stability during this transition period.

“Kelton’s leadership and commitment to the Town are well recognised. We are confident he will provide the continuity needed as we search for a permanent CEO,” he said.

With 30 years of local government experience, Mr Hincks will lead the Town during the ongoing CEO recruitment process. He previously served as Acting CEO from July 2022 to May 2023 and has held senior roles at both the City of Melville and the City of Rockingham.

Mayor Mack thanked Gary Tuffin for his service.

“On behalf of the Council and the Town Administration, I want to thank Gary for his exceptional leadership and professionalism as CEO – his contributions have greatly benefited our community. We wish him all the best in his new role at the City of Melville,” Mayor Mack said.

The Town's CEO Recruitment Committee is continuing the recruitment process for the appointment of a permanent CEO.
