The Town has received an application for a proposed conversion of an existing carport to a proposed garage at the above-mentioned property.

 The application is being advertised for the following reasons:

  1. A proposed garage door 2.802 metres setback from the Secondary Street Boundary (Salvado Road); and
  2. A proposed eastern/rear lot boundary setback of 2.1 metres.  It is noted the rear setback was approved with a carport and the existing rear setback will remain unchanged with the exception of the use converting from a carport to a garage.

The Town can consider and approve applications that do not meet the deemed-to-comply provisions where the proposed development satisfies certain design principles.

To assist the Town in determining this application, you are invited to view the plans and comment on the parts of the development that do not meet the deemed-to-comply provisions and/or the proposed use.
