A development application for the above proposal has been received by the Town and is being advertised in accordance with Local Planning Policy 1.2 – Public Notification of Planning Proposals.
The details of the proposal are as follows:
A maximum of six practitioners to operate from the site at any one time.
A total of eight on-site parking bays to be provided by the proposal.
The proposed operating hours are between Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:30pm and Saturday 8:00am-midday.
The proposed anticipated number of patients on the premises at any one time is a maximum of 12.
Patients and clients will visit the operation by appointment only.
The application seeks to have the following aspects of the proposal considered under the design principles of the planning framework. Accordingly, the Town is seeking your comments on the following:
Local Planning Scheme No. 1:
The proposed Consulting Rooms Group use is a ‘D’ (Discretionary) land use in the Medical zone under the Town of Cambridge Local Planning Scheme No.1.

2. The proposed change of use seeks a car parking shortfall of 16 bays.
The Town can consider and approve applications that do not meet the deemed-to-comply provisions where the proposed development satisfies certain design principles.
To assist the Town in determining this application, you are invited to view the plans and comment on the parts of the development that do not meet the deemed-to-comply provisions and/or the proposed use.
