The Town has received an application for a single dwelling at the above-mentioned property.
A summary of the proposal is as follows:
The existing dwelling is proposed to be removed and replaced with a two storey single dwelling.
A garage is proposed to be constructed at the rear of the property.
Street boundary fencing is proposed.
The application is being advertised for the following reasons:
Vehicle access being proposed from the primary street (Gregory Street) in lieu of solely being from the adjoining right of way (McLeod Lane).
A garage being proposed on the southern side lot boundary which is to be 9m in length in lieu of 6m as per Council's Buildings on the Building Local Planning Policy.
The Town can consider and approve applications that do not meet the deemed-to-comply provisions where the proposed development satisfies certain design principles.
To assist the Town in determining this application, you are invited to view the plans and comment on the parts of the development that do not meet the deemed-to-comply provisions and/or the proposed use.
