The Town has received amended plans pertaining to an application for a single dwelling on the above-mentioned vacant lot.

The amended plans are being re-advertised for the following reasons: 

Residential Design Codes:

  • The dwelling is proposed to be setback 3.5m from the rear (northern) boundary. This being the same distance as proposed previously however, a larger portion of the dwelling is now proposed in the rear setback area.

Local Planning Policy 3.1 - Streetscape

  • The proposed proportion of landscaping within the primary street setback area is 56%.

The Town can consider and approve applications that do not meet the deemed-to-comply provisions where the proposed development satisfies certain design principles. 

To assist the Town in determining this application, you are invited to view the plans and comment on the parts of the development that do not meet the deemed-to-comply provisions and/or the proposed use.
