The Town has received an application for a proposed alterations and additions to existing dwelling at the above-mentioned property.

The application is being advertised for the following reasons: 

Town Planning Scheme No. 1:

  • The garage is proposed to be setback 5.6m to the primary street (Hornsey Road);
  • The upper floor wall is proposed to be setback 6.7m to the primary street (Hornsey Road).

Residential Design Codes:

  • The garage wall is proposed to be setback 0.9m to the southern adjoining lot boundary;
  • The living room wall is proposed to be setback 1.4m to the southern adjoining lot boundary;
  • The upper floor bedroom wall is setback 1.7m to the southern adjoining lot boundary;
  • The maximum wall height proposed is 6.7m.

The Town can consider and approve applications that do not meet the deemed-to-comply provisions where the proposed development satisfies certain design principles.
