The Town has received an application for additions and alterations at the above-mentioned property.

The application is being advertised for the following reasons: 

Residential Design Codes:

  • The kitchen, bedroom and terrace wall is setback 1m to the southern adjoining lot boundary.
  • The carport, store room, and ensuite is proposed to be built up to the northern lot boundary.
  • The proposed store room does not meet the deemed to comply provisions for outbuilding requirements.

Local planning Policy 3.1 - Streetscape

  • The proposal seeks approximately 48% of the primary street setback area as landscaping.
  • The proposed development seeks primary street vehicular access to Daglish Street.
  • The proposed maximum width for the proposed crossover is 5m.

The Town can consider and approve applications that do not meet the deemed-to-comply provisions where the proposed development satisfies certain design principles.
