The Town has received an application for additions to the existing single dwelling at the above-mentioned property.

 A summary of the proposal is as follows:

  • A single storey addition is proposed to be constructed at the rear of the dwelling.
  • The existing carport is proposed to be removed.
  • A carport, driveway and crossover are proposed to be constructed adjacent to the property's eastern side lot boundary.

 The application is being advertised for the following reasons:

  1. A carport being proposed to be setback 1.5m in lieu of 9m from the property's street boundary.
  2. The property's street setback area being proposed to be approximately 37% landscaped in lieu of 60%.

 The Town can consider and approve applications that do not meet the deemed-to-comply provisions where the proposed development satisfies certain design principles.

 To assist the Town in determining this application, you are invited to view the plans and comment on the parts of the development that do not meet the deemed-to-comply provisions and/or the proposed use.
