Organic Vegetable Gardening

Organic gardening is not something new: it was what our grandparents or parents were doing only a few generations ago before the large hardware stores, online ordering or soil yards were even “invented”.

This workshop will help participants understand:

• Organic gardening, where to start and how to get the best use of space
• Soil and composting – what you put in is what you’ll get out
• Companion planting & crop rotation, including succession planting
• Organic pest control & soil builders for healthier plants
