Christmas Lights Trail 2023

The Town of Cambridge is excited to once again be running the Cambridge Christmas Lights Trail.  The Cambridge Christmas Lights Trail and competition aims to foster the festive season spirit throughout the Town and promote the wonderful display of Christmas lights undertaken by many local residents.

Entry to the competition is free, with categories for best home and best street/laneway displays available, with the below awards:

Award Name	Prize
Best Home Award (General Public)	$500 gift voucher
Runner-up Best Home:	$250 gift voucher
Best Street or Laneway Award	A street sign recognising the award and promotion of the winning street/laneway through the Town’s social media accounts and Cambridge News.

 

Registration 

Registrations open 9:00am Monday, 6 November 2023 and close 5pm Thursday, 7 December 2023.  Entry confirmation will be sent to all registered entrants and entrants will have until 5:00pm Monday, 11 December 2023 to provide a photo of their Christmas Lights for the map (see Terms and Conditions for specifications on requirements of photo).

Eligible registrations are in the running for a $100 gift voucher, to be drawn at 10am on Friday, 8 December 2023. 

Voting

A two-week voting period will open on Friday, 15 December 2023.  When voting opens a list of entries and a map showing the locations of each Christmas lights display will be available through the Cambridge Christmas Lights Competition website.  Details of how to access the website will be made available through the Town’s website and Social Media platforms.
