Cambridge Bowling Club, opposite the Floreat Forum has commenced a new initiative for prospective new bowlers.

It takes the form of free coaching for both young and old who may like to give the game of bowls a try.

It’s free coaching and instruction for those who may have thought “I wouldn’t mind trying bowls but what’s the first step? Is there a way I can give it a try without embarrassing myself?” Well, here’s the opportunity with no strings attached!

Now the players of the Cambridge Bowling Club have a brand-new initiative for any interested people. It’s called ‘Take to the Green’ Every day, including weekends, for the month of March starting on Monday 3rd between 9:30am and 10:30 - there will be an experienced club bowler on the green together with a selection of bowls ready to give advice and coaching to anyone who might wish to try the game. Just roll up.

There’s plenty of free parking. All you need are flat soled shoes and comfortable dress. The club will supply the rest and it’s free!
