The position provides a professional development opportunity for a self-motivated and diligent financial professional to apply their knowledge and skills in a diverse employment environment utilising modern finance systems.
The successful applicant will have several years work experience, be able to demonstrate knowledge of current accounting processes, demonstrated working knowledge of computerised financial systems, and exposure to year end processes and preparation of financial and management reports.
Excellent communication skills, demonstrated high standards of accuracy and problem solving skills, and an effective approach to time management will be essential to success in this position.
Although this is an initial appointment to 30 June 2019, pending the outcome of the Town's organisational review which is due to be adopted in February 2019, it is possible this will be extended or become permanent as the Town implements the review's recommendations.
