Asset Management Officer

Town of Cambridge has an exciting, short term opportunity for an asset management professional to assist with the Town's asset management planning framework.

Reporting to the Asset Management Coordinator, this position will primarily be responsible for providing asset management planning and support functions for buildings and council infrastructure. Included in the Town’s infrastructure are many exciting projects of recent years to be sustainably managed with optimal whole of lifecycle practices to provide maximum benefit to the Community,

Providing advice and technical support to the Asset Management team, this position's primary focus will be to assist in the development of asset management plans, with opportunities to provide input into processes relating to the collation of asset data, visual condition assessment, and photo capture. Additionally, the position will assist in the preparation of documentation associated with the Town's buildings.

The successful applicant will have previous experience in the development of infrastructure asset management plans using the IPWEA template. Prior experience with long term financial plans and capital works programmes will be well regarded.
