The Town is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focussed person to join the team at our modern and innovative Cambridge Library.
The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a willingness to help people by assisting customers with their requests and enquiries, including providing assistance with online technology. You will have excellent communication, people, computer and internet skills.
Hours of work include Sundays and weekdays, with opportunity for additional hours during the week. Whilst previous experience in a public library is highly desirable, experience in a customer service environment and a current National Police Certificate are essential.
Although this is an initial appointment to 30 June 2019, pending the outcome of the Town's organisational review which is due to be adopted in February 2019, it is anticipated that this will be extended as the Town implements the review's recommendations.
