Local Laws

Local laws govern activities on land that is owned or managed by the Town, as well as certain activities conducted on private land within the Town.

Local laws have the status of legislation, are enforceable and the Town may authorise officers to enforce the local laws on its behalf.

Local laws must be reviewed every eight years.

Acts, Regulations and Standards

Acts, Regulations or other legislation referred to in a Local Law can be viewed during business hours at the Town of Cambridge Administration Centre, or on the State Law Publisher website.

Standards referred to in a Local Law can be viewed during business hours at the Town of Cambridge Administration Centre, or on the Standards Australia website.

Guidelines or Codes referred to in a Local Law can be viewed during business hours at the Town of Cambridge Administration Centre.
