Local Government and Public Property Local Law 2017- Proposed determination Pursuant to Part 2, Divisions 1, clause 2.1 of the Town of Cambridge Local Government and Public Property Local Law 2017, public notice is hereby given that at the Ordinary Council meeting held on 23 November 2021, Council resolved that it proposes to make the following determination:
Determination for a portion of Empire Park (fronting Empire Road):
Purpose of the Determination:
The purpose of the determination is to set aside a part of the land for a trial period of up to 12 months, up to 31 December 2022, to allow persons (children), to use this part of the land for the purpose of bike riding and ‘free-play’. For the purpose of this Determination, ‘free-play’ primarily includes the riding of bicycles and associated play activities such as making bicycle jumps.
Effect of the Determination:
The effect of this determination will allow persons (children) to use this part of the land for the purpose of bike riding and ‘free-play’.
Further Information: A copy of the proposed determination and background information may be inspected at or obtained from the Town's Administration Centre at 1 Bold Park Drive, Floreat, between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday, and at Cambridge Library at 99 The Boulevard, Floreat during normal opening hours.
