Proposed Amendments to Local Planning Policies 3.1 and 3.3

Public comment is sought on the following amendments to the above policies, as adopted by Council on 24 April 2018: 

  1. reduce the Maximum Building Height in City Beach (excluding Windarra Sub-precinct) from 6.5m to 6m for an external wall (hipped or gabled roof above) and from 7.5m to 7.0m for the top of skillion, curved or flat roof, under Policy 3.3;
  2. Policy 3.1.3 'Garages' be amended to increase the criteria for a setback to be as per the minimum primary street setback (where the garage is sunken below street level) from 1.5m below street level to 2.7m below street level

The amended policies are available for inspection at the Town of Cambridge Administration Building located at 1 Bold Park Drive, Floreat WA during office hours.

Submissions on the amended planning policies may be lodged in writing and should include the policy number and title, the property affected and details of the submission.
