Expressions of Interest Community Representatives
The Town of Cambridge has an Audit Committee overseeing functions as prescribed by the Local Government Act 1995 and Local Government (Audit) Regulations 1996.
The Audit Committee comprises five members, made up of the Mayor, four Councillors and two community representatives. Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and/or experienced persons, for an appointment as a Community Representative on the Town’s Audit Committee, until October 2021. Interested candidates should possess qualifications and/or experience in financial management and internal control, business management, governance or similar.
The Community Representative is entitled to receive a payment of a reimbursement of expenses, commensurate with the expertise and knowledge of up to $500 per meeting, with the Audit Committee meeting approximately four times per year.
