Railway Parade & Northwood St Precinct Project
- Project typeRoad Works
- Completion Date30 June 2021
The need for a pedestrian crossing on Railway Parade, in the vicinity of the intersection of Northwood Street in West Leederville, has been brought to the Town of Cambridge’s attention by a number of different user groups who would benefit from a safer crossing.
After considering a report at the Ordinary Council Meeting on 15 December 2020 (available here),(PDF, 176KB) detailing the complexities of the proposed crossing options, Council resolved to form a Project Reference Group (PRG) to explore all possibilities and funding options for the optimum long term improvement of the area through the development of a precinct master plan.
A copy of the Terms of Reference for the working group can be viewed here.(PDF, 171KB)
