David DE GARIS

I have been a Floreat resident for almost seven years and consider myself fortunate to have settled in the best area in Perth.

I work as a Media and Communications Manager in the hotel and hospitality industry and in previous jobs have gained a comprehensive understanding of how different tiers of Government work, including Local Government.

I am a people-person by nature and believe strongly in finding solutions for people.

In the course of my career I have been involved in a variety of community projects that improve the way people live their lives, from Federal Government initiatives to local community based projects that deliver meaningful and practical outcomes.

With more young professionals moving into the Town of Cambridge I would welcome the opportunity to play a role on Council and add my voice to the local decision making process, to help grow and improve our community.
