Community Gardening
Meet new people, grow your own fresh food and be part of an exciting community project.
There are three community gardens located in the Town of Cambridge providing an opportunity for community members to rent a plot, tend to communal areas, become a member or participate in workshop activities and busy bees.
The West Leederville Community Garden is located at 78 Cambridge Street, West Leederville. For more information visit the West Leederville Community Garden Website.
The Lake Monger Community Garden is located at the north end of Lake Monger, between the Dodd Street car park and Powis Street. For more information visit the Lake Monger Community Garden Facebook page.
The Community Food Forest is located at the north end of Fred Burton Drive in City Beach – look for the lovely scarecrow. The Community Food Forest is an open space that has fruit and nut trees, annual vegetables and Bush Tucker plants for the local Community to enjoy and to learn what can be grown in their area. They host community working bees on Wednesday and Saturday mornings from 8am to 10am. All welcome.
