The Town of Cambridge has received funding from the Western Australian Planning Commission, administered through the Department of Planning Lands and Heritage, to develop a 10yr Foreshore Management Plan (FMP).
A key recommendation in the Town’s Coastal Hazard Risk Management Adaptation Plan (CHRMAP) 2022 is to develop a Foreshore Management Plan (FMP) to guide future maintenance and planning of the Town’s coastline.
The objective is to establish a management framework to guide planning, development, rehabilitation and long-term management of the Town's coastal foreshore reserve areas.

Project Updates
The Town’s consultant, Land Insights has produced a draft Community and Stakeholder Engagement Strategy, which is currently under review by the Town and Steering Committee.
