Floreat Beach | Masterplan

Floreat Beach is a popular location and highly-valued by the community. Current parking, access, and limited space for passive recreation are issues that have been raised by the community and key stakeholders. A notice on motion has been actioned by Council to develop a masterplan for Floreat Beach.

The Town will engage with users and stakeholders at Floreat Beach to determine common values and key issues of the site. This engagement will inform the development of a masterplan that captures the long-term vision of the precinct.

Public Survey Results

As a first step in the engagement process, we reached out to the community and stakeholders to gain further insights into Floreat Beach - it’s highly valued features, its use patterns and any areas of need for improvement. This feedback will help guide the master planning process and delivery of future services, programs and infrastructure in and around the area.

354 responses were received, and the survey results have been summarised HERE(PDF, 3MB)

Initial schematic design has now commenced to include these engagement outcomes. The Town sought applications from the community via email to be involved in a focus group to meet with the Town to assist with development of the concept design. The Town will notify applicants and schedule these meetings.
