Overview

The Town of Cambridge Community Funding Program provides a range of grants to support local community groups, organisations and youth. These funding programs aim to encourage community and personal development and foster community services and projects.

Financial Assistance for Youth Achievement (under 25 years)

GRANT APPLICATIONS OPEN

The Youth Achievement Grant provides financial assistance to individuals under the age of 25 years in recognition of excellence in sport, leisure, cultural, humanitarian, charitable and educational pursuits. This program is designed to offer travel assistance to young people who have been selected to represent their organisation/group interstate or overseas. Travel within Western Australia will be assessed individually and will only be considered when air travel is involved.

Community Organisation Support Grant

GRANT APPLICATIONS OPEN

Round 1 of the Community Organisation Support Grant will open on 5 September 2024.

The purpose of this funding program is to provide financial assistance for either one-off establishment grants or to assist with service provision and/or purchase of fixed or non-fixed equipment. Applicants must be local community organisations located within the Town that provide support and services to residents of the Town.

Applications from clubs for ongoing operational expenses such as ball replacement or from local schools for projects considered to be core business for educational institutions will not be funded.

Community Development Grant

GRANT APPLICATIONS OPEN

The purpose of this grant is to support community events and programs that enhance social capital and encourage participation in local community life. Three levels of funding are available:

Category 1. Large events or projects (attracting 500+ community members) - funding up to $2,000

Category 2. Medium size events (attracting 100-499 community members) - funding up to $1,000

Category 3. Small community or club events and programs (attracting up to 99 community members) - funding up to $250
