Citizenship Ceremonies
Citizenship ceremonies are the final step in becoming an Australian citizen. It is a special occasion for conferees to make their citizenship pledge and be presented with their Australian Citizenship certificate.
The Town of Cambridge conducts four citizenship ceremonies each year. The frequency of ceremonies depends on the number of applications approved by the Department of Home Affairs (DHA).
Conferees are booked into a ceremony once the DHA has granted citizenship.
