Depot Power Supply Upgrade

Background

The Town Works Depot Grounds have several buildings, including offices, carports, sheds, washdown, and stores. The facility opened in 1997, and most existing structures were built around this time.

This project intends to upgrade the depot’s power supply to allow capacity for two DC Type 1 electric vehicle (EV) fast chargers. The use of these chargers will complement the existing fleet of EVs and chargers at the admin centre, rolled out in mid-2025.

Scope of works

Complete the Western Power application process undertaken by an electrical consultant on behalf of the Town.
Western Power to design and construct an upgraded power supply in line with the Town’s application.
