Remembrance Day | Lest We Forget
The Town of Cambridge, in conjunction with the RSL Cambridge Sub-Branch, will conduct a small ceremony to recognise Remembrance Day, which commemorates when the guns on the Western Front fell silent after more than four years of continuous warfare, at 11:00am, on the 11 November 1918.
On 11 November each year, we commemorate Remembrance Day. This date is the anniversary of the Armistice's signing as the first step to end fighting with Germany in World War I. We commemorate all who have died or suffered in wars, conflicts, and peace operations.
The community is welcome to attend to pay their respects.
