Floreat Surf Life Saving Club Upgrade Upgrades to the existing Floreat Surf Life Saving Clubs are currently in the design phase. The works will improve the building's disability access and other upgrades to improve capacity, safety, and community engagement.
Lake Monger Recreation Club Upgrade This project is intended to improve disability access into and within the Lake Monger Recreation Club as well as reconditioning and improving the layout of amenities whilst preserving the heritage of the existing building.
Railway Parade Signalised Crossing | Northwood Intersection The implementation of pelican crossing west of the Northwood intersection.
Floreat Beach | Masterplan The Town is engaging with Floreat Beach users and stakeholders to determine the site's common values and key issues. This engagement will inform the development of a masterplan that captures the long-term vision of the precinct.
Perry Lakes | Playground Replacement: Engagement & Design The playground south of West Lake was identified to be upgraded to a regional-scale play space.
Rutter Park | Mindfulness Exercise Node Installation of state-of-the-art exercise equipment designed for senior fitness and wellness will be proposed. These items focus on improving balance, mobility, core strength, and motor skills.
Bus Shelter Program The Town is responsible for identifying bus stops eligible for upgrade and making recommendations to the PTA under the Bus Shelter Subsidy Programme (BSSP). The PTA manages the scheduling and construction phase for these bus stop replacements.
Jon Sanders Dr, Powis St and Harborne St Intersection Road Improvement The Jon Sanders Drive, Powis Street, and Harborne Street intersection was identified as having a high occurrence of crashes within a five-year period. This has made it eligible for road improvement funding in line with the Main Roads Western Australia (MRWA) Policy.

Grantham Street Multi-Intersection Treatment Review and Evaluation The intersection of Jersey Street/Grantham Street and Pangbourne Street/Grantham Street has expereinced 31 reported crashes over the past five years. To address these safety concerns the Town investigated the best long term solution to improve safety at these intersections.
Ruislip Safe Active Street Evaluation The Ruislip Safe Active Street project involved the design and construction of a 3.8km Safe Active Street that forms part of the City Beach-West Leederville cycle corridor.
Urban Forest Strategy 2025-2034 This project is intended to ensure the sustainability of the Town’s urban forest, to retain and strengthen the existing tree canopy within the Town through development of key strategies and actions
40km/hr Speed Zone Project for Wembley and West Leederville The Town of Cambridge has developed a draft Galup Management Plan 2024-2034 and draft Galup (Lake Monger) Master Plan 2024-2034 to help direct activities and projects to be undertaken within the reserve, over the next ten years.
Selby & Cambridge Street Signal Improvements This project aims to improve the safety and a accessibility at Selby Street intersections with Cambridge street and The Boulevard through upgrading signals and pedestrian facilities.

Accelerated Tree Planting Watering This project is to undertake the watering and young tree maintenance of these trees throughout the 2025-26 financial year.
Invasive Fish Removal - Galup and Perry Lakes The objective of this undertaking is to reduce the numbers and impacts of feral fish in the Town’s lakes and to gather data on the extent of the problem to guide future management actions.
Galup and Perry Lakes Fauna Survey The Town is engaging contractors to conduct seasonal surveys of the local fauna species and habitat within the natural areas of Galup (Lake Monger) and Perry Lakes Reserve for it's biennial survey.
Perry Lakes Flora Vegetation Survey The Perry Lakes Reserve Management Plan (2021-2031) recommends vegetation surveys and weed mapping to be undertaken at 5 year intervals. To ensure effective ongoing management, a new survey is required.
Demolition at 35 Boronia Crescent This project intends to demolish the unused communications exchange building at 35 Boronia Crescent, City Beach. This will reduce ongoing reactive maintenance, and improve local amenity.
Wembley Golf Course | Sand Bins Construction This project intends to construct new sand bins at the Wembley Golf Course (WGC), to replace existing ones which are at end of life and no longer fit for purpose. The stored sand will be used in machinery to support maintenance of the WGC playing surfaces.
Depot Power Supply Upgrade This project intends to upgrade the depot’s power supply to allow capacity for two DC Type 1 electric vehicle (EV) fast chargers. The use of these chargers will complement the existing fleet of EVs and chargers at the admin centre, rolled out in mid-2025.
Wembley Golf Course - Staff Office Design The Wembley Golf Course grounds maintenance team depot contains an office building that’s aged and nearing end of life. The Town plans to design a new, modern operational building to provide amenity and accommodate grounds maintenance team current and future needs
City of Perth SLSC Air Conditioning Renewal The City of Perth Surf Life Saving Club was built as part of the City Beach Precinct redevelopment in 2015. Being located very close to the ocean, salt laden air has contributed to declining condition of the ducted air conditioning system that services the building, and it’s now due for renewal.
Lake Monger Drive/South Galup Irrigation System Replacement The Town of Cambridge has recently completed a masterplan that covers the multiple bores and associated irrigation systems that service the Galup Reserve. As part of that process the two bore systems that service Lake Monger Drive and South Galup were prioritised for replacement in the 2025/26 Financial year.
Winmarley Park Playground Equipment Replacement Winmarley Park Playground in Floreat has been identified as requiring replacement through our playground audit and inspection program and replacement is scheduled to be completed this year.
Galup Dog Exercise Area Refurbishment & Enclosure The Town of Cambridge has received requests from the community to extend the fencing enclosure of the Galup dog exercise area in West Leederville. The community highlighted safety, the need for more free space for dogs and fostering a sense for community as the key drivers for this request.The Town is proceeding with extending the fencing enclosure to address these needs.
Admin Building – Roof Flashing Rectification – Southwest Side The Town of Cambridge is undertaking a roof drainage upgrade at its Administration Centre on Bold Park Drive. The project focuses on improving the gutter system on the southwest side of the building to better manage water flow during periods of heavy rainfall.
Admin Building Fascia Timber Cladding Renewal The Town of Cambridge is undertaking a timber cladding renewal project at its Administration Centre, located at 1 Bold Park Drive in Floreat. The project focus on replacing weathered timber panels in the north-eastern courtyard to maintain the building’s appearance and ensure the longevity of its exterior finishes.
The Boulevard Centre Staff Area Refit The Boulevard Centre, built in 2002, is undergoing minor office layout upgrades to improve functionality and better support day-to-day operations. The project focuses on creating a more practical and welcoming workspace that meets current needs and allows for future team expansion.
Wembley Golf Course | Hospitality Building Maintenance Works The Town received an audit report from a consultant in 2025, which outlined recommended maintenance andremedial actions for the building. The Town intends to engage a contractor to complete the recommended works.
Quarry Amphitheatre | Kiosk Upgrade In early 2025, the Town engaged a consultant to complete the design for renewal of the Quarry Amphitheatre kioskand office building. The design will facilitate future works to improve the building’s food offering and staff amenity, in line with the Town’s Quarry Amphitheatre Strategic and Business Plan 2024-2029. The design is expected to be completed by late 2025, to support the future works.
Wembley Golf Course | Driving Range Safety Fencing The Town is undertaking a review of the perimeter fencing to confirm suitability, including consideration against latest ball and club technology.
Perry Lakes Replenishment Scheme; Pump System Audit Since its inception in 2023 the Perry Lakes replenishment scheme has produced inconsistent outcomes, and an audit of the pump system has been proposed to investigate the performance of the scheme and make recommendations to bring the scheme in line with community expectations.
Traffic Signal Upgrade Projects | Townwide The Town is upgrading a number of signalised intersections to provide improved pedestrian crossing facilities at various locations where there is outdated and sub-standard infrastructure.
