The Town of Cambridge, and Noongar Artist Buffie Punch are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to connect and create in community as part of Naidoc Week.

Buffie is a proud Noongar Yorga (woman) of the Noongar Nation, with family connections to Gnowangerup in Western Australia. As a full-time artist since 2018, she draws inspiration from her culture, spirituality, and life experiences to create intuitive, storytelling artworks that often feature traditional Aboriginal symbols. Buffie’s art is both a personal expression of her spiritual awakening and a platform to support others through healing, mentoring, and connection. Recognised for her impact, she was awarded NAIDOC Perth Artist of the Year 2024 and continues to share her gift through workshops and community engagement.

Join Buffie as she guides you through a 3-hour Aboriginal Symbol art workshop for adults, where participants can connect through yarning and creativity. You will learn about Noongar culture, symbolism in Aboriginal art, nervous system regulation and grounding through art, and you may even create your own symbol.

Please ensure your tickets are secured as the session is limited to 15 participants.

This is a FREE event which includes all art supplies and a light supper provided by All Good Grub Bushtukka Catering, which will provide catering using indigenous herbs, spices and food. Native Iced Tea, Water and Tea & Coffee provided.

The Boulevard Centre is located on the ground floor of the Cambridge Library and has ample parking including Acrod Bays available and accessible amenities and access for guests.
