How to Vote

The Town of Cambridge has appointed the Western Australian Electoral Commission (WAEC) to conduct its 2025 Ordinary Local Government Election in October. This year voting in the October election will be undertaken via a postal vote system. 

Postal Voting

As of 17 September 2025, the WAEC will commence sending the election packages to the Town of Cambridge community via Australia Post.  Provided in the election package is:

  • Ballot papers
  • Candidate information
  • How to vote information
  • Returning envelope.

Your completed ballot papers can be returned in the returning envelope to the WAEC via Australia Post.  The other option is to drop your completed ballot paper, in your returning envelope to the secure ballot box at the Town of Cambridge Administration Centre, 1 Bold Park Drive, Floreat WA 6014.
