Town takes charge with new electric vehicle fleet

The Town of Cambridge has added six new electric vehicles to its fleet, reinforcing its commitment to more sustainable practices.

Charged using solar energy from panels at the Administration Centre, the vehicles will support essential services across the Town while reducing emissions.

This step towards a cleaner future has been made possible with funding from the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) and a partnership with the WA Local Government Association (WALGA), which supported the installation of charging infrastructure.

Residents are encouraged to keep an eye out for the new electric vehicles as they operate across the Town.
