Kintsugi: The Art of Broken Pieces

kintworkshop.png

Discover Kintsugi, the age-old way to minimise waste to landfill. The Japanese art of putting broken ceramics back together with gold is built on the idea that in embracing flaws and imperfections, you can create an even stronger, more beautiful piece of art.

Every break is unique and instead of repairing an item like new, the 400-year-old technique actually highlights the "scars" as a part of the design.

This workshop includes a gold repair kit with all necessary equipment and tuition.

Cost: $80 payable by the Friday before your selected event.

If you have concerns about your health with regards to the glues used in the workshop please review the safety information below.
