In emergency situations, quick use to a defibrillator could make a significant difference to the well-being of a person suffering a heart attack.

The St John First Responder mobile app allows you to view all the registered defibrillators in Perth. As well as displaying closest defibrillator locations, the app can send your GPS coordinates to the 000 operator when you call an ambulance, speeding up the time it takes to confirm your location and dispatch an ambulance.

The app is easy to access in an emergency to find your closest one and other important first aid information. The Town has funded heart defibrillators throughout the community and is focused on encouraging everyone to download the app and take a first aid course.
