Cambridge Library is bringing back the much-loved Teddy Bears Picnic at the Quarry Amphitheatre this spring, with families invited to enjoy a morning of fun, laughter and community spirit.
On Wednesday, 8 October 2025, from 9.30am to 11.30am, the Quarry Amphitheatre will come alive with songs, games, music and face painting, alongside plenty of space to spread out a picnic rug and relax in the sunshine. Children will be delighted to see the giant 12-foot teddy, who has been visiting the library and will make a special appearance on stage at the event.
Guests can bring their own picnic baskets or pre-order share boxes and teddy-themed treats from the Limestone Café. Adding to the entertainment, cast members from the Wembley Theatre Company will join the festivities at 10.15am to give families a sneak peek of its upcoming pantomime, Sleeping Beauty.
This is a wonderful opportunity for families to come together in a unique setting and create lasting memories.
