Mattress Collections, Verge Valet™ & Tip Passes

Ensure you book your Verge Valet or mattress pick up before placing any items on the verge. Your waste can be placed on the verge for a maximum of three days.

Each residential household in the Town of Cambridge is eligible for two mattresses collected per year.
Does your mattress still have life in it? If it’s in good condition, consider donating it to a charity that offers free collection, such as Salvation Army or People Who Care.
The Town of Cambridge provides a mattress collection service to support redistribution and recycling efforts.
Please book your mattress collection HERE before placing your mattress on the verge, as the wait time may exceed the maximum of three-day limit for waste on verges.

About Verge Valet™
Properties not eligible for Verge Valet™
- Perry Lakes Estate.
- Jolimont (Hortus Way, Pollen Grove, Tiller Lane and Anther Lane).
- Frontage onto laneways.
- No available front or side verge (due to either size or garden).
- Non-residential rate paying properties (businesses, clubs, etc)
Items by Verge Valet™
- No mattresses - this a separate service. See above.
- No beanbags or items containing polystyrene balls.
- No tyres, wheels or car parts - a fee can be paid to dispose of these at the West Metro Recycling Centre. (map) (fees)
- No glass panels or surfaces. (eg. table tops and mirrors)

Tip Passes
If you are not eligible for Verge Valet services (eg Perry Lakes Estate, or have no verge available), please email mail@cambridge.wa.gov.au to enquire about obtaining tip passes for your property.
If you are part of a Multi-Unit Dwelling please ask your Strata or Council of Owners, in the first instance, if they have been in contact with Verge Valet and the Town of Cambridge to organise Verge Valet for your loction. If this is not the case you will be offered tip passes.
