The Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage (DPLH) has advertised APIL Group's Precinct Structure Plan (PSP) from 9 August to 23 September 2024.
Residents and stakeholders are encouraged to review APIL’s PSP online here and submit feedback by 23 September. Submissions can be emailed to FloreatPSP@dplh.wa.gov.au or mailed to Locked Bag 2506, Perth WA 6000. Hard copies are available for viewing at the Town of Cambridge Administration Centre and the Cambridge Library.
After the consultation period closes, the DPLH will forward all submissions to the Town of Cambridge. The Town will then prepare a report for Council consideration, including recommendations for the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) on whether any modifications are proposed to APIL’s PSP.
Comments attributed to Mayor Gary Mack:
“Public participation is crucial in shaping our Town. I encourage all residents and other interested members of the public to review APIL’s PSP and make a submission.
“The Town of Cambridge is committed to ensuring our community's voice is heard in the planning process. We will review all submissions and ensure our recommendations reflect residents’ interests.”
