Fresh look and new equipment for local playgrounds

Three playgrounds in the Town of Cambridge have recently been upgraded as part of the 2024/2025 Playground Replacement programme.

Following community consultation, works were carried out to replace or refurbish ageing equipment, improve safety and accessibility, and enhance the visual appeal of local play spaces.

Completed works include:

• Jubilee Park playground, City Beach – new play equipment and sand top-up.

• Donegal Park playground, Floreat – new play equipment, edging and sand.

• Ocean Mia Park playground, City Beach – refurbished equipment and new rubber softfall.

 

The upgrades provide a greater variety of equipment, refreshed play areas, and improved facilities for children and families.

The City Beach playground is also scheduled for refurbishment later this year.
