Get to know your neighbour
The Get to know your Neighbour program is all about creating safer neighbourhoods by building positive relationships and open communication between neighbours - the result being improved community safety.
If you'd like to get to know your neighbours and improve safety in your neighbourhood, it's easy!
To be eligible for funding, applications must be made a minimum 10 days prior to the event.
Step 1 - Nominate
Nominate yourself as the host of a 'Get to Know your Neighbour' gathering.

Step 2 - Set the date, invite the neighbours
Once we've received your nomination we will send you invitations and RSVP slips so that you can invite the neighbours.
Step 3 - Confirm the event and have fun!
When your RSVPs are in contact us to confirm the event and receive a $100 voucher for catering, plus goody bags of safety information and products for your guests. We ask that you send us the receipt from your catering purchases.
We will also contact the local police to organise their team to visit your event if they are available.
